Gee, if only I had a photo that encapsulated the clusterfuck of my mind right now…anxiety over the imminent end of UniSG, the consequent premature nostalgia, fear of the Real World, anticipation of The E-Mail of acceptance for my desired internship, the dejection of still not hearing anything, the utter lack of enthusiasm to complete any assignment, and a ceaseless feeling of fatness counterintuitively paired with an endless desire for ‘nduja burgers with Indonesian ketchup and saffron aioli.
The photo would show me grinning foolishly in one moment and then spinning out of control the next. I would end up on my ass staring blankly at the sky, only thankful for the last ‘nduja burger which cushioned my fall.
